Terms of sale
All trade and business conducted within Knobby Shop AB is governed by Swedish law.
- Terms of purchase/sale
These terms apply in cases where Swedish or other law does not prescribe other rules that conflict with our terms. Private consumers are subject to the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen) and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen). Businesses are subject to the Swedish Sale of Goods Act (Köplagen). The Sale of Goods Act (Köplagen) is non-mandatory, which means that our own agreements may stipulate terms other than those prescribed by law. Further information about the applicable laws can be found via this link: https://www.konsumentverket.se - Age limit
To place an order via www.knobby.eu you must be over 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian. - Prices
All prices are stated in euros including VAT. If you are logged in as a customer, the prices are shown in euros excluding VAT. VAT is always added. The price that applies at the time of ordering also applies at the time of delivery, regardless of whether prices have been adjusted up or down. In other respects, we reserve the right to adjust the prices stated in the catalogue during the year without prior notice. - Ordering
Orders are placed either via our webshop www.knobby.eu or by telephone or email. Anyone ordering who is under 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent or guardian, and this must be obtained before the purchase is completed. Orders placed without consent in another person's name, and which cause financial or other harm to Knobby, will be reported to the police. - Payment methods
Limited companies, trading partnerships, sole proprietorships, economic associations and limited partnerships may, upon application, be granted payment by invoice once they have been approved by Knobby Shop AB. The number of credit days for a new customer is always 15 days net, which is granted following a credit check. Otherwise, the order is paid in advance by credit card. Orders placed before the credit application is complete cannot be delivered against invoice. The choice of payment method is made at Checkout. An order that has already been invoiced cannot subsequently be re-invoiced under a different company name. In the event of late payment, interest on overdue payment of 12% on the outstanding amount is charged, calculated from the due date. If more than one reminder needs to be sent, a fee of €5 is added. If more than two reminders have been sent and full payment has not been received, the matter is passed on to a debt collection agency. Payment with a discharging effect can only be made to the debt collection company. - Deliveries
Deliveries within Sweden and Denmark are normally made by PostNord (parcel or letter). To Norway, Finland and the rest of Europe we ship by UPS. All deliveries are carried out in accordance with the respective carrier's applicable rules for the shipping method. The shipping cost is presented at Checkout in connection with the order. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the addresses provided when ordering are correct. Tracking of parcels is possible via Account at www.knobby.eu or via the carrier's tracking. The parcel number is emailed at the time of dispatch. For delivery by letter, we accept no responsibility if the letter is lost. It is the customer's responsibility to follow up and collect ordered products within a reasonable time from dispatch. A reasonable time can vary between 10-20 days depending on the shipping method. Knobby reserves the right to refuse the delivery of any products for reasons such as sharp price fluctuations, an unforeseen stock situation, an unfavourable competitive situation, etc. - Shipping prices
Presented at Checkout. - Delivery times
- Products held in stock are normally packed and dispatched the same day if the order is received before 17.00. The delivery time is normally 1-2 working days from the time the products leave our warehouse. Items that are back-ordered are shipped with your next order as soon as the item is back in stock. If the back-order is shipped separately, a shipping charge is added. New products and made-to-order items that are not normally held in stock are not a back-order. In cases where the buyer considers that delivery is delayed in such a way that the customer no longer wishes to receive the order, it is the buyer's responsibility to cancel the said order in accordance with the provisions set out in these terms of purchase. Cancellation can take place as long as the stock status is stated as not in stock.
- Changes and cancellation
Changes to an order are possible as long as the order has not gone to picking and packing, i.e. dispatch has not been made. Changes regarding cancellation, of one or more products, are possible by telephone. If you wish to add a product to an open order, you must either call us or register a new order and state that it should be packed together with a previous order. Additions and cancellations can also be made by email, but this entails a risk that the order is processed during the time it takes for us to handle your email; if that is the case, the cancellation/addition is not deemed to have been received in time, which is why this method is not recommended. Cancellation of an order that has not been processed and packed is possible at no cost to the customer. If the order has started to be packed and processed, this means that the order can no longer be cancelled. In cases where cancellation has not taken place in time, you as a customer are obliged to receive the consignment, and may then, where applicable, use Returns. Cancellation of a made-to-order item, purchased specially on the customer's behalf, is not possible. - Complaints
In the event of a complaint, you must contact us before returning the item.
You do this at reklamation@knobby.se
When making a complaint about an item, a complaints form (link) must be filled in and accompany the item. In some cases it is sufficient for the supplier to receive images of the defective items and the item does not need to be sent back. A complaint must be made within a reasonable time from when the fault was discovered. Our suppliers must first approve the complaint before a new item can be delivered or a credit can be issued. Knobby arranges the shipping for returns of items subject to complaint when we consider that the item must be returned. Knobby only replaces the items we sell, not labour time or the like. - WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
Due to the nature of performance applications (racing, competition), engine parts are sold without any express warranty or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Knobby Shop AB shall not, under any circumstances, be held liable for special, incidental or indirect damages, including, but not limited to, damages or loss of profit or revenue, the cost of purchased or replacement goods, or claims by the buyer's customers, that may arise from and/or result from the sale, installation or use of these parts. Installation of these parts may affect the vehicle manufacturer's warranty. - Returns
For returns, you must first contact us and obtain approval that the item can be returned. You do this at reklamation@knobby.se
When returning an item, a returns form (link) must be filled in and accompany the item. Returns must be made within a reasonable time from when the item is delivered. Returns must be in saleable condition and in the original packaging, and a deduction of 15% of the net price paid by the customer is made as a handling charge. The customer is responsible for packaging the product properly. The customer arranges and pays for the return shipping in connection with returns. NOTE: ALL RETURNS MUST BE SENT AS A BUSINESS PARCEL. If the return concerns an incorrect shipment on our part, we reimburse the customer for shipping costs up to €9 net excluding VAT. - Uncollected consignments
In cases where the customer chooses not to collect an ordered consignment, the customer is charged the cost of the corresponding shipping, out and back, plus a cash-on-delivery fee. - Damaged consignments.
If a product/consignment is damaged in transit, this must be reported to Posten as soon as possible, normally via the collection point. Externally visible damage must be reported on receipt; concealed damage must be reported within 5 days of receipt. Failure to report transport damage within this time forfeits the right to make a complaint about the product, as it cannot subsequently be proven how the damage occurred. A copy of Posten's written complaint is sent to reklamation@knobby.se, whereupon we normally place a new order for the customer. The matter is then settled between us and Posten. - Misprints etc.
We reserve the right to correct misprints, errors in information, incorrect prices and errors in product specifications. All images are to be regarded as illustrative and need not reproduce the exact appearance and nature of the product. - Disputes
Disputes between businesses are as a rule settled in court. - Force majeure
Should Knobby be prevented from delivering or making a replacement delivery, or if such an obligation to deliver becomes unreasonably burdensome as a result of a labour dispute or other circumstances beyond the parties' control such as fire, war, mobilisation or unexpected military call-ups of a corresponding magnitude, requisitions, seizure, currency restrictions, insurrection and riots, transport obstacles, shortage of goods, shortage of fuel, and delays in deliveries from subcontractors or producers as a result of circumstances similar to those referred to in this clause, Knobby is released from all liability with the exception of complaints and the crediting of missing products. - Copyright
